EN15_-_Edit_calculated_consumption.PNG

-                 ID: do not fill in this field. The field will be automatically filled in by the system.

-                 Name: name of the virtual source. The name will be visualised in Opisense

-                 Calculated virtual meter for: choose the type of energy for which a calculation will be configured

-                 Tag: define a tag for the virtual sources. This functionality is also present for real sources. By using the tag, one can easily filter sources. Important: the tag is a free text field, but the text can only consist out of one word, so one can’t split words. By typing in the tag field, a list of already used tags will pop-up.

-                  Sources

o   Add a first group of sources by clicking on “0 sources”, followed by “add another”

o   Choose the source by filling in the fields:

§  Location

§  Meter

§  Variable

o   Add a second, third, fourth,… source by clicking on “add another”

o   Adapt the factor

§  Divide the source by changing the value of 100

§  Substract the source (from other sources) by adding “-“ before the factor.

§  Example: source 1, factor 100% + source 2, factor -50 % = source 1 – ½ source 2

EN17_-_Factor.PNG

-                  Following, one can create a second group of sources for another time period by using the text field “End date”. E.g. Till 02-09-2016, the total consumption of a building should be the result of the sum of source 1 and source 2. After this date, the total consumption of the building should be the sum of source 1, source 2 and source 3. The end date of this group of sources should not be defined.

EN18_-_End_date.PNG

-         The calculation of a virtual source will only be effective if all data sources that are part of the virtual source receive data. If a certain source does no longer receive data, the calculation will not be performed and so, the virtual variable will not show up. The status of the sources can be consulted via the button « Visualise meters ».
